Thanks so much for participating in Thursday's workshop. I really enjoyed it and it seems from the feedback that you all did too!

Other
than spreading the word and staying in touch on a regular basis with many
people (a network that spreads through every new addition), I seek artist
opportunities almost on a daily basis. There are 'call to arts' to no
end. Many rejections but the more I try the easier it gets to apply and
the chances increase....
I hate the design and navigation of Facebook but it works
for promoting the artwork better than my beloved yet forgotten MySpace.
I will always ignore tweet and stay on top of Linkedin, etc., but no significant results from that.
Another reason I signed up to a
few "networking" sites, even if they are duds... is the fact that my
name appears in more places in the net, increasing my presence and
chances to be found randomly. When someone is searching my name to see
what I do, or [to see] if I am the real thing or ???, they will come across a lot
of links and that helps my "image"... or so I hope, right?"
