A Word from Karyn

Hi Friend!
I know you're as busy as I am during this season, so I'll make this brief. First, Merry Christmas! May God fill your heart with peace and joy as you take on the tasks that holidays bring.
Looking toward the new year, we're featuring Day by Day Devotions and Day by Day Devotions 2 for children ages 6 - 10. Sometimes people ask what the difference is between the two books. These devotion books are "stand-alones," meaning neither of them depends on the other: You can use either book first, or use one and not the other. Each covers a variety of Bible readings arranged according to themes, such as why God made you or being thrifty or loyal. Each book contains enough devotions (and optional activities to go with them) for a year, using one devotion per weekday, 7 minutes a day. You can even use them in a Christian school setting, or use them as the basis for a study in a church class. You might be interested to know that I wrote book 2 after a year of the thought process that went into Love Trumps Karma, so if you're familiar with that book, you'll see a foundation being laid in book 2 for the "apologetic of perfect Love," as I sometimes call it.
Anyway, these devotion books are a great way to start your children - and your whole family - on a new year of exploring their lives in the light of the privilege we've been given to live and grow in God's eternal kingdom.
May you have a Merry Christmas and a spiritually rich New Year. By God's grace, to His glory,
Karyn Henley |

In a fun, active format, Sword Fighting helps unlock the door to long-term memory to help your child use the Word of God in daily decision making. There's even an optional Sword Fighting game you can devise to engage your entire family or Bible class!
Ideal for family devotions, personal devotions, homeschool Bible study, or a class full of kids! $14.99 (plus shipping).
