BU CSTE Launches Major New Study

The BU CSTE launched DETECT, the first study on CTE ever funded by the National Institue of Health. Led by principal investigator and CSTE co-director Bob Stern, Ph.D., the team will examine 100 retired NFL players and 50 controls over the next three years with the goal of finding a biomarker for CTE in living people, a critical first step to a treatment. Read More.

SLI Announces 2nd Annual Super Bowl Raffle
Get your raffle tickets for "A Super Weekend at Super Bowl XLVI"!  Proceeds from the raffle will benefit Sports Legacy Institute education and training programs.  Tickets are on sale now - $20 per ticket or a book of 7 tickets for $100.  The winner will receive two tickets to the game, accommodations and transportation.  We also need volunteers to sell tickets in Massachusetts!  Chicago Concussion Coalition Fundraiser Builds Momentum
