On June 29 Chicago Public Schools (CPS) provided an SLI Advanced Concussion Training (ACT) led by Chris Nowinski to CPS athletic directors.

Tom McHale Memorial Fundraiser - SLI Family Advisory Board Member Margy McHale, sister of Legacy Donor Tom McHale, hosted an SLI benefit in Gaithersburg, MD on May 18. The Tom McHale Memorial Fundraiser raised $25,000 for SLI. 

Special thanks to Marty and Alexis Magill of Quincy's Bar and Grill for providing the venue and food for the event, the McHale family and special friends for their generous support, and the many volunteers who made the event possible. Part of the funds will be used to provide an SLI Advanced Concussion Training session this fall for the coaches, parents, and athletes of Gaithersburg and the surrounding communities.
