New Poster to Be Hung in Locker Rooms Alerts Players to Long-Term Risks of Concussions in Blunt Language

and an advocate for youth concussion awareness, said he was relieved to learn
about the new language. "The old pamphlet that said 'no evidence of any
long-term effects,' it slowed down progress - it helped create a latency

Dr. Cantu Discusses NFL's Effort to Battle Concussions, Potential Conflict with "Dinosaur" Coaches
 The conflict comes to life
in (Coach Mike) Singletary's beloved and much-discussed "nutcracker" drill - where
two players line up and try to ram into one another. Singletary says
that drill will be an important part of training camp again this year.
"He
probably doesn't understand the issues the way he hopefully would or
should," said Dr. Robert Cantu, who was just named a senior adviser to
the NFL's new committee on head, neck and spine trauma. "I think he
probably has a mindset that goes back a few years. He needs to be

NFL's Sean Morey, SLI Brain Donor, Retires Due to Concussion Effects
SI.com - It's been almost eight months since the 34-year-old Morey played. In the
past couple of years, it had taken him longer each offseason to get
back to his baseline, to feeling well with no lingering headaches from
