I have to commend everyone on their efforts this past quarter. While a down first quarter for most, through prudent decision-making, almost all of our members are in the black with a hopeful path in sight.
It's clear that "hunker down- while remaining opportunistic" is the theme. What isn't clear is the intensity of both the workload and more importantly, the smart executive decisions that need to come with that. I know it seems counterintuitive to simultaneously right size your staff and invest at the same time. And, it doesn't help, that the reward isn't immediate.
Stay the course, look to your peers for guidance and continue to reach out. That's why you are in the program. I'll quote what I have heard many of you say, "These are the times when you need the program the most."
Clarity of vision, solid decisions, effective allocation of resources and reformulation of business models- all in a days work of the CEO.

BYKI Spanish was chosen by Apple to be a featured application on their app store last month. At the beginning of the month, BYKI apps were 6 out of the top 10 best selling paid language apps in the education category in the U.S. app store.
