Dr. Stacey Dent

Chiropractors detect and remove subluxations. You may wonder what exactly is a subluxation? It's when your vertebrae move out of alignment, which may place pressure on nerves due to trauma or everyday repetitive stresses. Dr. Stacey Dent, D.C. specializes in Chriropractic care pregnant moms and for kids with conditions such as ear infections, birth trauma, poor posture, bed wetting, torticollis, scoliosis, and colic. "Kids don't have to be in pain to need an adjustment. Everyday stresses and falls can impact the health of growing children. Prevention is the goal." Dr. Dent is looking at continued success thanks to the tremendous support and counseling services of the Maryland Small Business Development Center, Southern Region. Dr. Dent first sought business counseling services from the St. Mary's County satellite office in February 2011. The counseling assistance included a business and marketing plan as well as cash flow projections. During the same time, Dr. Dent attended three Small Business Roundtables for women where she was able to promote her business to women in the business community and network to find other services.
Dr. Dent exceeded her goals for 40 patients in the first two months and continues to bring in more patients weekly. As the only woman Chiropractor in St. Mary's County, she is the only Upper Cervical and Webster Certified Chiropractor in Southern Maryland. Dr. Dent's services are sought after and already her reputation for achieving remarkable results is out in the community.
