Works in Progress Salon

(and 'Speak Easy')

 a space to create

writing and tea set

Have you been searching for a place in the North Dallas area to nurture your writing muse? Are you seeking a creative space to complete your book in the making, finish a poem in progress or simply be among other like minds who are seeking to do the same?

Once a month, on Friday evenings in Frisco, the Works in Progress salon will be open for you!

The first Works in Progress salon will be held on January 27, from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. at the Gideon Center, 3110 Main St., Frisco, TX. The salon space will be available on the fourth Friday of each month.

Admission is $10 per person.   For mature youths and adults only.

Come early to contemplate, create, and work on your personal projects in a low-key environment, with soothing sounds of jazz and easy listening to motivate your muse.  Professional writing assistance and resources will be available if needed, but you are free to work on your own.

Stick around until 9:30 p.m. for the "Speak Easy " session where you will have an opportunity to bring your works alive through readings and spoken word.mic

No more excuses about not having a time or a place in the North Dallas area to express yourself and work on your words.  The Works in Progress salon is providing that place for you!
