Build Your Parenting Skills on March 22, 2011

The 4th Annual Parent Education Speaker is Ada AldenParenting on Purpose book cover,  author of "Parenting on Purpose:  Red, Yellow, Green Framework for Respectful Discipline".  This presentation is FREE and open to everyone who has children in their life:  parents, teachers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors!

 

Doors will open at 6:30 PM for a Parent Resource Fair. 

The presentation will occur 7:00 - 9:00 PM. 

 

This presentation will focus on providing parents a way to deliver direct and clear messages, establish necessary rituals and routines and communicate family values, beliefs and expectations.

 

Location:  Marshall High School (Schwan Center for the Performing Arts), 400 Tiger Drive, Marshall, MN 56258

Ada Alden will address bullying with students earlier on March 22.

Ada will talk about bullying with middle school age students during the afternoon.  The program will be live to Marshall Middle school students and will be webcast to ALL students in grades 5-8 within Lyon, Lincoln, Murray, Yellow Medicine and western Redwood Counties.
