Progressive Dinner
Progressive dinners will put books into the hands of children.

Italian FoodThe first Imagination Library Progressive Dinners event, a delightful culinary experience, is scheduled for Saturday, February 26 beginning at 5:00 PM.

Participants will have a choice of either Italian, Asian or Minnesota Home Grown Cuisine (See menus here). The progressive dinners experience will begin with a social hour with appetizers at one home.  Diners will then travel to a soup/salad course home and travel again to an entree home.  The evening will end back at the reception home with a dessert/coffee buffet.

Seating is limited.  Reservations and cuisine selection can be made by calling United Way of Southwest Minnesota at 507-929-2273 or by clicking here.

Tickets are $75 per person.  The reservation deadline is February 22.  More information.

All funds that are raised will help put books into the hands of our youngest children through sponsorship of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library program in this area.  The program gives a gift of a quality, free book in the mail each month to around 2,400 Southwest Minnesota children from ages birth until their 5th birthday.

This event is sponsored by Women United for Early Childhood who help the Success By 6 Initiative build school readiness skills.
