| Help us Stuff the Bus with school supplies!

 Children look forward to starting their school year with fresh, new supplies
Not every family is able to afford that expense. You can help make sure that children in this area can get a good start this year by 'stuffing the bus' with new, basic supplies. Area schools are partnering with this effort by identifying students who should receive the supplies. If you haven't had an opportunity to donate school supply items yet, here are a couple of options: Canby: Drop off items at Canby Elementary School through 4:00 pm Monday, August 2 OR at one of the drop boxes located in several locations throughout the community. Lincoln/Lyon Counties: Drop off items between 10:00 - 11:30 am Tuesday, August 3 at the Marshall Armory.
Cash/check donations are also appreciated so specific items can be purchased next week. United Way of Southwest Minnesota is fiscal agent for the school supply drives and will make sure that the funds are used wisely. Send your tax deductible donation to United Way, P.O. Box 41, Marshall, MN 56258 (please note Stuff the Bus and your community on the memo line). |
