Community Investment Volunteers At Work
A very important role for United Way volunteers is the annual citizen review of local nonprofit organizations that seek affiliation and grant funding.  This includes site visits of agencies, review of program goals & results, and making a recommendation to the United Way of Southwest Minnesota board for funding of community impact grants for services provided for people who live in this area.

Community Investment Volunteers 2010Special thanks go to each of the thirty-eight volunteers who stepped forward to work during April and May to carry out this effort.  Read more.
