A BIG thank you to all parents who came to the Set-Up Day. It is a tremendous help having everyone roll up their sleeves and prepare the school for our kids.
I look forward to seeing next week at the unveiling of the classrooms!

The NPNS library needs volunteers! Our library computer has finally arrived and we are excited to organize and catalogue the books in the library. This is a huge project and we are looking for committee members and volunteers to help scan and organize books. Please contact Jenny Gjervold at jgjervold@gmail.com if you have an interest in helping with this wonderful project. |

As many of you know, the NPNS community recycles useable items that the children use towards various craft projects. Thanks to all of you who have already looked at the list of desired items, which can be found on the web site. Link to list of Recycled Items
There are a few items that the teachers are particularly in need of as the school year begins:
* Glass baby food jars (Stage 3/large jars only) * Tennis ball containers * Sea glass * Small tiles * Cardboard cup/coffee holders (e.g., McDonalds or Starbucks) * Bulk fabric and/or tulle
Please drop off all recyclables in the top right hand recycling cabinet, located in the downstairs gym. This cabinet will be labeled and remain unlocked. We will sort through and put away the recyclables once a week. As a reminder, in order to maintain NPNS as a nut free environment, please do not bring in any nuts (acorns, chestnuts, etc.) from your nature collecting.
Thank you in advance for all your help in making this a successful recycling year!
