"Art in August"

Every year on the third weekend in May and August, local Rhinebeck Village merchants put tables and racks along the sidewalks for the annual "Sidewalk Sale Days". This year, Gazen Gallery will host the first ever "Art in August" event where local artists will set up and sell their work alongside the local merchants. "It is time local artists had a chance to participate in this annual event" says Joel Weisbrod, one of the gallery owners. "Now that there is a gallery in the village featuring local artists, this seems like a natural fit."
This August, the Sidewalk Sale Days fall on Friday August 14, Saturday August 15, and Sunday August 16. Artists will be located along US-9 and next to the Gazen Gallery in the walkway from US-9 to Garden Street. Visit Sidewalk Sale Days from 10am - 8pm all weekend.

Sizzling Hot Summer Show Opening
 We had a great turnout for the opening of this new summer show, More than 100 people attended the Artist's Reception on July 11th between 4pm and 8pm. In fact, Linda and Joel were in the gallery with Artists and Customers until 10:30pm. It seems like everyone had a great time and enjoyed the wine and snacks. "We were exhausted but we can't wait until the next opening" said Linda Gazen Weisbrod, one of the gallery owners.
The next opening for our upcoming "Dazzling Fall Colors Show" will be Friday night, September 11th from 4pm-8pm. Stop by to meet the artists, see their work, have a snack, and enjoy a nice evening in the Historic Village of Rhinebeck.
