| Dear Challenge Day Friend, |
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Your love, generosity and support means the world to us and have helped transform the lives of thousands of teenagers.
Since we began in 1987, we are blessed that our life's work has made a powerful difference in the lives of millions of youth and adults. This year, we are proud of these amazing results: - We doubled our program days to 900, as compared to five years ago.
- We will reach 100,000 students and adults this year!
- Our MTV program, "If You Really Knew Me," was viewed by millions of people and is still creating miracles with those who continue to view our episodes and share our Discussion Guides.
- We hired 5 new Challenge Day Leaders and 3 new Staff Members to our team.
- Challenge Day Leaders continue to see miracles in schools in the United States, Canada and The Netherlands, where we now have a partnership.
- "Over de Streep," a Dutch Documentary about Challenge Day, aired in The Netherlands with huge support!
- We brought Being The Change Workshops to American and Dutch communities.
- In October, Yvonne and I led Challenge Days for the first time at Del Sol High School in Las Vegas. The days were sponsored by NASCAR Driver Taylor Barton and The Taylor Barton Foundation. Taylor was bullied in school and is now dedicated to ending bullying in schools so that no one feels alone. We witnesssed transformation and healing occur in the school, it was incredible.
- We have received hundreds of testimonials of appreciation and gratitude as well as poems, artwork, and other expressions of love from the students and adults who participate in our programs.
It has been an amazing year and we won't stop until we have a world where every child feels safe, loved and celebrated. We know many progressive educators who want to bring the work of Challenge Day to their schools.
