Autumn is now upon us in London and the leaves have started to turn!
We are currently in the process of finalising the manuscript for "The Lost Treasures of Atlantis", though it has not all been plain sailing!
Gavin is at the Sharjah International Book Fair this week, with a brief stopover in Cairo to discuss a proposed exhibition there.
"A True History of Global Exploration"
We are pleased to say that we have recently finished a film entitled "A True History of Global Exploration". This 16 minute teaser film is essentially a summary of the meeting we held back in April at the Royal Geographical Society in London. We are hoping a production company might pick up this idea and make a full length documentary. Please let us know if you think you can help us in this respect.

Gavin on BBC News
Gavin was interviewed by the BBC in relation to a new find off the Kenyan coast. You can read more about this at the following link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-11531398
Furthermore, Tai-Peng Wang, a friend of 1421 made us aware of a speech made recently by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao in New York, in which he stated: "... As we all know perfectly well, 600 years ago, Zheng He sailed south to Melacca and west to the Cape of Good Hope. All he brought along were silks, tea and friendship. There was never an inch of foreign soil occupied by him, including those places that remained undeveloped then such as Australia..."

So it appears that he and his advisors are on the side of President Hu Jintao and Professor Zhang Zhijiang in advocating that Zheng He did in fact visit Australia.
It is nice to see that Gavin's years of hard research are being recognised by "the Establishment"!
