Charlotte Harris Rees to talk at the Library of Congress
Howard Smith to talk at the Ventura County Maritime Museum
Greetings, and welcome to the September 2008 newsletter from www.gavinmenzies.net!

August was an unusually busy month for us. Gavin travelled first to Singapore and Malaysia where he delivered a series of talks and carried out several book signings and press interviews.

We were pleased to see that both '1421' and '1434' featured in the MPH Kuala Lumpur's top five bestsellers that month!

Gavin and Marcella then went off on a well deserved holiday to Europe. They travelled through France and Italy and finally to Croatia, in the search for new evidence. More on this at a later date!
The Daily Telegraph

We were delighted with an article in the Daily Telegraph, a well-respected UK broadsheet newspaper. Elizabeth Grice's article can be read here

Gavin was also interviewed for the "My kind of town" section which you can read here

Gavin was not able to attend the Olympic Games in Beijing, but we all watched them with great excitement, not least "Team GB's" haul of medals!
