About the Family Constellations Approach
The Family Constellation perspective offers new ways to understand ourselves and others. This approach honors where we come from and provides unique access to the often-hidden family dynamics and invisible bonds that influences how we feel, how we act, how we love and how we live.

Fear, Addiction, Depression, Illness, Anger and other problems are common unconscious expressions of loyalty and love for members of generations past. Once people can disentangle their own fates from the fates of other members of their system, opportunities for deep change begin to emerge.

The Family Constellation Training Program

2011 - 2012

If you want to engage in an in-depth study of Family Constellations work, our Family Constellation format includes an on-going training program with a workshop series that is open to the public. This highly experiential training will meet six weekends (Saturday & Sunday) over the next year.  Each Saturday will be an open workshop for the public.  Sundays are reserved for the trainees.  This day will be dedicated to an in-depth exploration of the theory and practice.

LEVEL 1:  Learning from Personal Experience

There will be ample time for each participant to explore their own family system from this perspective. Students of this training program will receive a strong foundation in the theory and practice of Family Constellations.  This knowledge will both deepen your personal understanding of your own family system and will also increase your awareness of the unseen systemic forces affecting individuals, couples and families. Participants must commit to the entire training program.

The Family Constellation approach invites one to totally embrace the present moment as a gift from the generations before us.   The power of Family Constellation work lies in the "felt" experience of one's family system and its direct effects on one's current life situation.   Long held notions, beliefs and struggles begin to melt away as we begin to understand life from this new perspective.  We often see compassion, acceptance and love emerge to replace denial, resistance, anger and fear.

LEVEL 2: Advanced Facilitator Training and Supervision

This program is open to people who have completed a minimum of one year training with the CoreConstellationsCenter, or the equivalent.

This advanced training will focus on developing each student's skill level in facilitating constellation workshops. The guided practice sessions will increase confidence in using this model with individuals and/or groups. Trainees will facilitate a Family Constellation workshop at the end of the training year. It requires a one-year commitment and is integrated into the year-long training and workshop series.
