THE PROGRAM:
The Somatic Seminar offers an introduction to the power of
body-centered modalities. It will give healing practitioners
easy-to-apply tools and insights in the mechanisms of the
"mind-body connection" and is a general introduction to
the potential of body-centered evolutionary process work.
The Somatics Seminar will be based on the theories and practical applications of Core Energetics and its founder, John Pierrakos, MD. It will include information from bioenergetics and other forms of Neo-Reichian work, as well as psychosomatics and the neurophysiology of emotions.
We will study the powerful and complex processes between therapist and client
that arise when working with the body.
This course is highly participatory and experiential because
helping professionals using touch must have their own
experience in order to safely guide their client in their personal growth process.
