ENGLISH TRANSLATION/SUMMARY OF AFRIKAANS ARTICLE SENT TO LPCCI:
Susan Coetzer, owner of the Blou Hond restaurant in South Africa, starts off by telling how she bought Katie Brazelton's book, Pathway to Purpose, about six years ago and that it had a major impact on her life. Firstly, when she started to write her own first book and began her public speaking career soon after. She acknowledges Katie at the start of her first and second books and at every single speech she ever makes. Then, secondly, Susan mentions that she received an email from Natasha, a South African woman, who heard about Katie through her (Susan), and who because of that introduction, went to America to train as a Life Purpose Coach®. Susan goes on to say that an agent contacted her some months later to ask if Katie could speak at her venue, the Blou Hond, and of course she was over the moon when two events were scheduled for August 2011. She was so happy to meet Katie in person at the women's event and also the couple's event, both held at her restaurant. She says that both women (Katie and herself) believe they are still going to do big things together for God. (Perhaps a film about their search for life purpose!) She says that the article is not about Katie or her, but that it's about the bigger picture - for Katie, for her, and for every person out there - that God has a dream for each of us. All she did was call out to God, listen, and obey Him -- and He did the rest! |
