Greetings!
We know you lead busy lives. But when it's time to celebrate a summer holiday, smell the flowers or just relax, give us a call. Oh, and be sure to pack those flip-flops--the porch is open! Mark your calendars for August 29 and 30 - that's our Annual Open House - we'll have lots of munchies and 20% savings on everything in the gallery. Come and visit for an hour, for the day, or stay the night. We'd love to see you!

Summer Culinary Tours
We have been touring Lancaster County for the past four years with guests from the Harvest Moon B&B. Together we're called Lancaster County Tours and we've just launched our new website at www.lancasterculinarytours.com.
These are not your ordinary tours - they are small, personalized groups that experience our favoriate places in Lancaster County. While no two tours are alike, each promises a chance to learn, have fun, and enjoy great eats. Here's what we have lined up for the summer:
June 13 & August 8 - Beer and Pretzel Tour
We'll explore 3 breweries (one of the oldest industries in Lancaster County) and two
very different pretzel makers. You'll even get to make your own pretzels and discover that it's not all that easy. See our Beer and Pretzel page for more details. And don't worry about driving - we've got that covered.
July 10 11 - Murder in New Orleans and Cajun Cookout
Try to solve the murder on the porch of The Artist's Inn on Friday night and enjoy an afternoon Cajun Cookout by the Prudhomme family on Saturday. We'll give you advance notice of your "character" so that you can bring costumes and props - in addition to those we provide. Laughter is included in this weekend!
July 25 - Wine and Cheese Tour
Everyone loves these tours. This time we'll be visiting two new wineries that we are sure you'll like. We'll also tour some local artisinal cheesemakers and end the day with a gourmet wine-paired dinner. So grab your girlfriends or special someone and join us - you won't have to worry about directions, getting lost or driving, as we've hired a van and driver. Look here for details: Wine and Cheese Tour. |
My Name is on the Deed, But the Cats Own the House
THis is the title of Bruce's new book, due out in November. It will be a small book loaded with cat pictures and cat wisdom. Thanks to all of you for sending your cutest cat pictures to us.
We'll let you know when it is in stock, but you can pre-order now by calling the inn at 888-999-4479. The cost is $12.95 and $4.95 for shipping up to eight books.
Although not every picture in the book will be avaialbe as a print, here are two currently available online.
Pictured on the right is Bathroom Attendant, from a photo taken by a guest who clearly broke our rule of not letting cats in the guest rooms.

Our cat Chardonnay can hear the sound of the printer working no matter where she is in the house. For some reason, she feels that it's her duty to rush to the printer to supervise what is coming out of it! See Bruce's website to order this picture.
