Who are you? Was "mom" the first word that popped into your head? Do you feel defined by your responsibilities and roles? Do you feel like the real you has been placed on the back burner while your children, family and career take center stage? Finding Definitions, LLC, a company created to help mothers balance the rigors of parenting with the help of strategies on finding personal time, has launched its "Million Moms for Self-Care" campaign. This campaign endeavors to tell one million mothers that their self-care is not negotiable, but rather necessary as they strive to be the best women and parents possible.

Fall colors Date Night Ideas
  • Have a Kentucky River adventure by pontoon boat and see the beautiful and brilliant fall colors. The tour will depart under the US 27 Bridge at the Kentucky River on the Garrard County side and costs $15 per person. Refreshments are provided. Go to www.kyriver.com for more information.
  • Enjoy dinner and the Mystery of Irma Vep by Charles Ludlam, one of the most produced comedies in U.S. history. It is a tribute to gothic horror films liberally stealing from well known film classics like Withering Heights, The Mummy's Curse and Hitchcock's Rebecca. Enjoy this performance at Natasha's Bistro, downtown Lexington. Tickets are $15, with seating at 7:45 p.m. and show time at 8 p.m. Reservations are required.
