Statement on Ken Adams Nomination as ESDC President & CEO

Today, Governor Cuomo announced the nomination of Ken Adams to be President and CEO of Empire State Development Corporation (ESDC).

Governor Cuomo's appointment of Ken Adams to head ESDC is further proof of this administration's strong commitment to New York's economic revitalization, especially in the Upstate region that has languished in terms of job creation for so long.

I've worked closely with Ken over many years and know he will be a terrific advocate for the unique challenges facing the Upstate economy. His depth of experience and leadership at the Business Council make him a worthy successor to Dennis Mullen and I look forward to partnering with him as we move New York forward.
