| Well, the cold weather should be behind us now and Spring is right on the horizon. Valentine's Day is a week away and that means a number of things, but to gardeners in the low desert of Arizona it means fertilization of citrus trees! It is not uncommon for our citrus trees to look a little pale and even to start dropping some leaves with cold damp soil. Remember that citrus are subtropical and prefer warmer weather. It is vital for Citrus to flush new growth and of course to bloom later this Spring. To insure that both these things happen, an application of fertilizer is vital right now.
