Pie in the Sky 2007
Thanks for 11 years of support!
 A hallmark for the holiday season, our Pie in the Sky fundraiser returns for its most delicious year yet. The funds from every pie sold will provide holiday dinners for MANNA clients to share with their families and friends. We hope to see you at one of our Pie in the Sky events, and especially at our Kickoff on October 16th.
Pies are available in 5 gourmet flavors - each one is sure to be a crowd-pleaser at your holiday table. Help us reach our goal of raising $325,000 - we can only do that with your help - buy pies or form a sales team to help us sell 13,000 pies! Find out how you can buy, bake, and sell pies.

MANNAfests at the Arden  Join us at our next event on October 10 for a pre-theatre happy hour beginning at 6 PM for a special performance of Arden Theatre Company's An Empty Plate in the Café du Grand Boeuf by Michael Hollinger.

Making a Difference MANNA was awarded a $50,000 grant from the Altria Group, Inc. at the 14th annual Association of Nutrition Services Agencies (ANSA) Conference on August 22 - 24, 2007 in Chicago, IL. Altria also presented $50,000 grants to 13 other organizations.

October is National
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
 Please help us spread the word that MANNA has expanded our services and we can help the quality of life of those suffering with breast cancer. Through our relationship and collaboration with other grantees, we have learned that many people who suffer through breast cancer treatment have concerns and questions about their nourishment needs and are not aware that MANNA's nutrition department can help.

Raise the Dough 
You can help nourish our clients each month. Join Raise the Dough and, for as little as $15 a month, you can provide a full day's worth of meals for one of our clients.
MANNA is now able to accept donations from Federal employees through the Combined Federal Campaign - our new campaign number is 64328. We also participate in United Way Donor Choice - our number is 09917.
Our clients benefit the most when you donate through Raise the Dough where 100% of your donations help fund our client nutrition programs. | |
MANNA delivers nourishment to people at nutritional risk in the Delaware Valley. A small professional staff and 1,000 dedicated volunteers bring over 40,000 nutritious, freshly prepared, home-delivered meals each month to individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS, cancer or other life-threatening illness. MANNA dietitians promote wellness through nutrition education and counseling. Through these services, MANNA provides opportunities for caring people to extend loving support to families, friends, and neighbors.
