Announcing BuildaBridge's 11th Annual Institute for Arts & Transformation

The 2012 Institute will be June 6-10 coupled with Eastern University's M.A. in Urban Studies Arts in Transformation concentration June 6-14. Specialized one-day courses in Arts Relief and Restorative Practices will be June 11.
BuildaBridge's Discovery Program served on average 50 children per week in five transitional housing sites through eight classes in visual arts, photography, hip-hop dance and spoken word.

BuildaBridge is pleased to announce the 2nd annual Artology reunion for 2011 participants, families and staff. The reunion will be Saturday, February 18th from 5 to 8pm. Bridget Carroll, Artology Associate, is planning an active night with games, art-making and food.
Healing As an art therapist who is used to facilitating art therapy groups single-handedly, it has been my great pleasure to join forces with music therapist extraordinaire and co-founder of BuildaBridge, Dr. Vivian Nix-Early. Every Tuesday morning I volunteer as Dr. V's assistant to a toddler Music Therapy Group in the pre-school Learning Center at the Women Against Abuse (WAA) shelter.
