February 1-29 Please join us in supporting the Cradles to Crayons PJ Drive, run in conjunction with the Boston Bruins. The Boston-area goal this year is to collect 15,000 new pairs of PJs. Plus this year, the Boston Bruins have some great prizes for the school that donates the most PJs! Stay tuned to find out more in the next Heartbeat.
We will be collecting new PJs in the school lobby throughout the month of February and at the 5th Grade vs. Faculty Basketball Game on Thursday, February 9th. Thanks for your support.

Our HEARTSONGS preparation is well under way! There was lots of enthusiasm when we met with kids interested in our Kids are Authors book entry! At our next gathering, the media format for the book will be discussed and sections will be assigned. If your child is interested in participating, please have them attend one of the meetings. Can't make a meeting? Contact Yolanda Tong bytong@verizon.net for details or to arrange a separate meeting.
Meetings will take place in the front lobby alcove after school and will last approximately 1 hour.
4th & 5th Grades - Wednesday, Feb 1 OR Thursday, Feb 2 2nd & 3rd Grades - Wednesday, Feb 8 OR Thursday, Feb 9 K & 1st Grade - Wednesday, Feb 15 OR Thursday, Feb 16
Want to get involved? We need parent volunteers to help advise the kids and organize entries. If you are interested or want more info, contact Yolanda Tong bytong@verizon.net.
