UTCVM Large Animal Hospital Challenge
UTCVM is currently raising funds to support the planning and construction of the Large Animal Hospital. They have issued a challenge--if you give at least $12,500 by March 15, 2011, a donor will match your gift. TVMA Executive Board has agreed to donate $30,000 toward this challenge. If you are interested in making a donation but are unable to meet the minimum requirement of $12,500, here's an opportunity to add your donation to TVMA's. You may send your check (in any amount) to:

Mitchell to be interim Ag. Institute leader - University of Tennessee Vice Chancellor Buddy Mitchell will serve as interim leader of the Institute of Agriculture. The appointment comes as current Agriculture Chancellor Joe DiPietro prepares to take the post of president of the UT system. The Knoxville News Sentinel reports this will be the third time Mitchell has been the interim leader of the Agriculture Institute. He will take over on Jan. 1.
