Greetings!
It has been a while since we last talked. So many excited things have happened within the previous month. We will have to limit just how much we can share in this small space. However, I want to officially let you know we are experiencing exciting growth. We appreciate those of you who have referred us to new clients and those who have continued to encouraged us with kind words and prayers for our continued success as we spread our wings and fly.
Our local and national client list has greatly expanded in the last 30 days, as a result of your well wishes and our ability to meet and exceed our clients' expectations. We now have new account relationships with a non-profit client, an international entertainment company, a major defense contractor, another health care client, and a Fortune 200 global manufacturer in the midwest. We have officially expanded our services in all areas of direct hire, contract, and temp-to-hire services for corporate professionals and senior management positions. Our clients are awesome and are amazed at our ability to find the right people for their most challenging positions.
More are asking, "what kind of positions do we specialize in?" We specialize in corporate positions. Our positions range on average from $50k to $200k. As previous Fortune 500 managers, we know intimately how critical these positions are and are able to help our clients identify the right professional or leader. Call us if we can help you. It would be our pleasure to serve you. Enjoy your weekend everyone!
Respectfully,
TJ Haygood, Founder & CEO

Weekend Reflections
When Congratulations are Joyful and Painful
Do you remember the last time you were excited about someone's success to the point that you shared the good news with others and congratulated them with showers of excitement in your voice and gifts in your hand? Do you ever recall a time when you were excited for someone's happiness and equally felt pain inside because their gain meant your loss? Maybe it was the time when your favorite boss got a promotion but it meant you would lose a mentor. For some it was when a best friend at work got a promotion but they wanted the job. For others it may have been a time when their spouse got a huge promotion but they did not want to move. Or just maybe it was a time when your child went away to college and you were unable to see them on a regular schedule any more. Do you remember the joy and the pain?
If you can related to the above sentiments, then you are aware of the feelings we felt when we at CSS learned that Brian Shumaker received a significant promotion from Jobing.com to head up all of Colorado and New Mexico. Wow! What a deserving and awesome opportunity this is for Brian. WE ARE SO EXCITED FOR HIM and cannot think of a better person to receive such an honor. Yet, we do feel a sense of loss of a true friend of CSS and a major contributor to our Career Development Training program. We will miss Brian dearly. However, a s much as it is painful to see Brian leave, it is a friendly reminder of how we as professionals and business leaders must be ready at all times to adjust to change.
As a professional, you need to have backup plans to include Plan B, C, and D, when Plan A does not work out. In business, we will always lose a favorite colleague, boss, co-worker, or friend for various reasons. While it is never easy to say goodbye, it is part of life. Celebrate the moment with them. Get past your personal loss. Do not linger on yourself but focus on them and their well deserving recognition. Enjoy their moment with them. Laugh, celebrate, and remember the good times with them. Do not spoil their moment by making it about you and your loss. Treasure them and take away from them the good that they demonstrated, then incorporate those life lessons in your life as we will try to do with the many wonderful lessons learned from Brian. His professionalism and service to us from the inception of our company will forever be cherished in our hearts. We congratulate and celebrate Brian Shumaker. Go Brain go, but come back when you can. :-)From All of Us at Confidential Search Solutions

Beauty All Around Us, Yet What Do We Focus On?
Natural beauty is all around us in hidden places and wide open spaces. Yet, what do we focus on? My husband and I just got back from our "2010 Tour of Texas Summer Vacation" and it was absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed a world champion lasso roper in Bandera, Texas, at Flying L Ranch. We walked down more than 150 feet to witness thousands of year old rock formations at Natural Bridge Caverns. We took a river boat ride under Lady Bird Bridge in Austin, Texas while we watched the bats come out at night. It was exciting to explore the natural beauty all around us within a one hour drive.
The photo shot above on the right, was taken over 180 feet below ground with my husband's cell phone in one of Natural Bridge Cavern's caves. It was unimaginable beautiful, including natural columns made from the combination of stalactites and stalagmites that are formed on concrete ceilings and floors in caves. Yet there were people under these massive life forms who spent more time commenting on the occasional drip of water that touched their head from the moisture in the caves than they commented on the beauty and vast wonders of all the things around them.
There is natural beauty and positive things to reflect on everywhere, even at work and in our homes. However, many of us spend more time focusing on and talking about the 1-10% of our day that is unpleasant or unfortunate, than we do the good, positive, and even beautiful things around us. Begin today looking for those positive moments to focus on and talk about. Become one of those people who are enjoyable and beautiful to be around because of your positive energy. The more you give and the more you identify beauty all around you, the more of life you will enjoy living even at work. Enjoy each day and make it special because you are and everyone around you is special too. Find out how and share the beauty around you.
Enjoy Your Weekends in August Everyone!
