Weekend Reflections Newsletter by CSS
Small LogoHappy Friday!

Greetings!

We are very excited that so many people continue to express an interest in receiving our newsletter on a weekly basis.  This is in spite of "our plans", to make it a monthly one.  We have listened to your comments and have read your emails, so we will continue to produce a weekly newsletter with one slight modification.  We will produce one main newsletter on the first Friday of each month which will include both a Friday Factoid and a Weekend Reflection.  Then on the remaining Fridays, we will only include a Weekend Reflection.

Now Open House 2010it is time to come take a look at our new CSS Facebook page.  Thanks to the technology services of Jobing.com, we recently launched our new Confidential Search Solutions' Facebook page.  We want you to be one of the first to see it.  We've uploaded some pictures from our Open House last month as well as some additional corporate pictures.  If you like our new page, click the "like it" button on our page or on any picture or section where highlighted.

As our client base continues to grow, it is becoming more apparent that our core values of Integrity first, Professionalism always, and Service to others before service to self, are exactly what our clients need and should expect from the service we provide as professionals.  Each day their are challenges that tempt each of us to override those values and give in to our natural impulses to do less than our best.   Don't give in.  Push ahead.  Continue to give your best to everyone you meet.  In doing so, we all get to work within a much better environment.   May you be blessed to give your very best to the men and women you serve.  Have a fabulous weekend everyone!
Respectfully,

TJ Haygood, Founder & CEO

The Influence of a Few Good Men

There was a time when fathers were known to be the foundation of a family.  They were revered as men who brought stability, financial resources, and discipline to a home.  While there are no perfect families,  those who had at least one good man in the home (a father, grandfather, older brother, or uncle), they were considered to be homes that were safer in the community.  In most cases, values were taught, work ethics were expected, and accountability for one's actions were typically demanded.

Today we live in a different time period.  Some families are using the same slogan as the Marines.  They are looking for a few good men.  As we end this week and reflect on our jobs, our employees, our friends, and our families.  Take the time to stop and say thank you to the positive fathers and father-like figures in your life that contributed to your successes.  If by chance that memory is painful for you to think about, take the time to relinquish the pain and the anger.  There is nothing greater than a mind that is free from shame, pain, and resentment. Give yourself permission to release it and replace it with forgiveness.

If you have been and/or are a good father, bless you for your experience and influence given to those who later became well rounded and hard working professionals.  If you have not been or are not now such a great dad, resolve to become one.  It is never too late to make a change for the better.  Your children need you even if they do not think so.  Our community needs you to help reduce juvenile crime and to help increase more educated young adults.  Our country needs you to build stronger homes and better work place environments.  We all need you to become good role models for other young adults to follow.  Thank you for the contributions you give to make the world a better place to live.  Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Happy Father's Day!
