Oh the Places They'll Go...
As Yealey Kindergarteners wrap up the school year they share their hopes and dreams. The teachers at Yealey work toward their school mission of College and Career Readiness from day one.
As a culminating project in Mrs. Ledford's Kindergarten class, Mrs. Ledford read Flat Stanley to the students. Kindergarteners made their own 'Flat Stanley' and mailed him off to a friend or relative requesting feedback from his travels. Each student then received letters in the mail, some including photos, which were shared with the class! Danielle mailed her 'Flat Stanley' to a family friend that lives locally. He took Flat Stanley to a Cincinnati Reds game and brought back a T-shirt for each student!
The Kindergarteners really enjoyed hearing about all the places they can go!
