Annual Spring Folk Dance Assembly

Coming to our annual Spring Folk Dance Assembly on Tuesday, May 8th?  For the best seat in the house, bring your own!   Some chairs will be available, but we unfortunately do not have enough.  The assembly may last a full hour, so please consider your comfort needs.

 Students will perform for parents and family members at 1:30pm.   

 The theme this year includes dances of the Pacific Islands.  Island attire is encouraged, but not mandatory.  Come celebrate the sun and warm winds with us - you'll practically feel the surf and sand below your feet as you enjoy your children moving to the sounds of Hawaii, New Zealand, Guam,  The Philippines and Tahiti.

 CARD-MAKING STATIONS FOR TEACHER/STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK

Here's a great way for you and your child/children to show your PVS Teachers & Staff some LOVE:

1. Stop by the Card-Making Stations outside of each building Monday-Thursday morning.

2. Write a note and if you'd like give a small token of your appreciation for any or all of our teachers and staff.

 3.  Drop all notes & tokens in the big box.
 

All notes/tokens will be collected and presented to all faculty & staff members in a fantastic gift bag on Friday.

Do stop-by... a kind word of appreciation or small token makes a BIG impression!

•  $10 donation to PVS per person, or $15 per couple

This is a lighthearted workshop about managing      parenting (and kid) stress given by PVS parent Sarah Nuxoll.  Let's face it, parenting can be frustrating, chaotic, and overwhelming!  Not only can we get worn down by the stresses of having a family,but research is showing that our kids pick up on it, too. Come join this enjoyable & interactive discussion for ideas for understanding and defusing stress, so we can help ourselves - and maybe our kids as well - to feel at ease and excited about our lives.
