A Message about OAKS Testing

Dear Families, 

Wednesday, February 22, 2012, starts off a three week block of OAKS standardized testing for 3rd through 8th grade students at Portland Village School.

Each class is scheduled for testing at various times between February 22nd and March 7th.  Your child's teacher has the specific schedule for your class.  During the testing period, please make sure that your child gets plenty of sleep and eats a good breakfast daily so that they can feel relaxed and comfortable and perform their best.

Charter School Renewal Hearing
 
When: Wednesday, February 29th at 8:30am-10:30am (Supporter's role ends by 9:10am)
Where: 501 North Dixon Street, Portland, OR 97227
What: Stand in support of PVS charter renewal
 
Please note that parking is extremely challenging and limited at the central office.  We encourage you to carpool and to arrive no later than 8:10am to find parking. Carpools should leave PVS' campus by 8:00am to find parking and to arrive on time for the hearing.
 
We will have maps available at the office to help you find your way, however here is the link to the directions on Google maps:
