eZuce Customer Spotlight: Charles River Development
Charles River Development provides software, hosting and data services to automate front and middle office investment operations for buy-side firms. The company has more than 300 clients in 38 countries in the institutional asset and fund management, alternative investments, wealth management, insurance, banking and pension markets.

Charles River Development had a legacy Nortel Meridian Option 11 PBX along with a newer Software Communication System, Model 500 (SCS500) installed for their brokerage affiliate. The costs of maintaining the two systems however were becoming costly and cumbersome.

eZuce EZ Elite Partner Ronco Communications and Electronics provided support on the Meridian I PBX as well as having installed and maintained the SCS500 system. The older Nortel system which supported 95% of the company's communications was unable to provide any new features without significant investment in hardware along with costly software upgrades. The older Option 11 platform also did not provide for ease of administration. read more...

Evaluating TCO for your UC and Social Business Solution.

When measuring the costs of a new telephony solution an Enterprise must look at the total cost of ownership (TCO) as an effective financial measure of all direct and indirect costs associated with implementing a new IT infrastructure purchase. Enterprises of all sizes should evaluate the benefits and TCO and perform a UC needs assessment before making a purchasing decision.

Prior to making a decision on a UC, Social Business Solution you should look at a few of the following recommendations before you choose a solution for your Enterprise;

1.Support and Maintenance- Pay close attention to support and maintenance prices when comparing vendors.
