The openUC™ conferencing solution is 100% software based and scales to large deployments accommodating a significant number of conferencing ports, distributed over several servers if necessary.  It supports high definition (HD) audio and also facilitates video conferencing.  It can be deployed as a centralized conferencing solution in a large corporation, offered as a service (CaaS), or distributed to different offices or regions resulting in reduced operating costs.  It can work as a standalone conferencing solution next to a legacy (IP) PBX, or as an integral part of an open unified communications solution.

Moving to openUC messaging and conferencing applications is easy and low risk. Integration and interoperability with the existing PBX system is either via a typical TDM connection or over IP (SIP).
