October

Dear Greetings!
My sincere gratitude for the incredible response to the Follow That Dream...I challenge you blog. Your comments expressing your commitment to the challenge were priceless! I truly am blessed to be a part of such a wonderful dedicated community of people raising the standards for their health. Keep up the great work and continue to share your experiences on the blog.
An advanced yoga skill I've been practicing is The Art of Detachment. An appropriate fall theme  as old mother nature allows things to finally detach and decompose from their source.
I'm attached to the belief that what I am doing in my day is never enough. That no matter how many people I work with or see, no matter how many events I attend or organize, no matter how many training(s) or classes I am apart of, it's still not enough to fill my satiety for leaving a lasting imprint and being significant.
Sound familiar? Well read on to learn how to address these feelings with a Daily Gratitude Exercise listed in this week's blog: The Art of Detachment
-Liza
PS: I'd love to hear if and how you apply this exercise. Please share your experiences HERE.

Meet Greg: A Man on A Healing Path
Body Therapy Sessions with Liza Pitsirilos

Have you ever had energy work that was so incredible that it changed the whole way you looked at your life and your relationship to yourself?

Well recently a client had just that experience wants to share it with you. Meet Greg:

"This summer I hurt my ankle, resulting in torn ligaments. I had partial tears of my ATFL, CFL & Dorsal ligaments. I was in bad shape for many weeks. Once I was able to get somewhat mobile, I started physical therapy & my active road to recovery. Only to have a few set backs, fluctuating pain & inflammation. Leading to frustration & being incapacitated. We usually think the answers to our physical health are straight forward & easy. Sometimes they are, but only if you know the correct things to do & have the right help!

With some injuries it takes a deeper perspective to address the uncertain complications which arise during recovery. I was going through my learning & healing process, & I found great help! Liza is a great source of knowledge, therapy & kindness. I learned many ways to approach my healing physically & mentally.  READ MORE....

On Nov. 7, Forrest will accompany EWF teachers to Tampa's James A Haley Veterans Hospital, one of the largest spinal cord and trauma units in the United States, to meet and work with the wounded there.

ALIGN & REFINE YOUR YOGA PRACTICE
by Liza Pitsirilos

1) SEATED SIDE BEND POSE: Target areas to watch are the upper, lower and mid back, shoulders and neck.

Misalignment: The tendency in seated side bend is to 1) collapse the spinal cord and round the back and/or 2) inactive arm and hand which cuts off the energy  flow and lessen the side stretch.

Suggestion: Prevent collapsing and rounding the back by pulling the flat hand to extend the spine. On inhale lift the chest and lengthen the...
