Dear Greetings! 
This past week has been a manifestation of all of the experiences that have lead me to where I am today. In the past several days, I have hosted a healing circle, attended a hypno-therapy session and welcomed my spirit home by reconnecting to my love for music and dance. And here are a few things I've learned from each of these experiences:
1) Human Touch: Healing circles are a beautiful ancient ceremonial gathering that bring us closer to our spirit and the universal Spirit that guides us all. They ask us to be still in the wake of vulnerability and be held by another's compassion both literally and figuratively. 
2) Mind: Hypno-therapy shed light on the importance of learning to let go, not be in control and to trust the process instead of that annoying voice in my head which always gets in the way... you know which one I am talking about.  
3) Spirit: Sound and music are vibrations and when they hit certain frequencies they touch the heart, invigorate energy and ignite the spirit. Dancing to music literally connects me to my spirit which feels like the phoenix rising from its ashes.

The links between the body and the emotions are not always obvious but the physical discipline of yoga can help us tune into emotional aspects as well as physical blockages. And when negative, painful emotions arise on the mat, rather than ignoring them, we have another opportunity to release them by exploring the questions:
