Dear Greetings!

"Focus on Energy...time and money

will come and go."

Let's talk about somethings that are essential to your work, your relationships, and your life: health, energy and vitality!

Think about it--if you only have average health and are low on energy can you really perform well at your job? In your relationship can you experience deep passion and satisfying emotional and physical intimacy? Can you really get the most out of your life? Of course not.

Instead of quantifying time and money and being driven by it, focus on looking at how your energy fluctuates. What depletes it? What replenishes it? Your energy is what keeps the engine running and if you are constantly are running low on it you certainly won't have any use for time or money.

Wellness Tip this Week:

Ever since a friend told me a  secret about financial abundance, I have never looked at money the same. She told me to "let go of the idea that money is finite and start seeing it as infinite; constantly replenishing itself. The more comfortable I became with letting go and exchanging money,  the more I saw  it constantly came back to me.

Try treating someone to a meal or something just because. Try paying your bills or rent without agitation or regret. Try looking at how detaching yourself from your emotional ties to money affects you.  You'll see once you can practice the art of detachment how quickly the money returns.

Suffering Is Optional

by Christina Feldman

Presence Through Pain

Pain in our body, particularly chronic and acute pain, has an inevitable emotional impact that can be equally debilitating. Blame, fear, self-condemnation, despair, anxiety, and terror can arise in the wake of physical illness and root themselves in our bodies, further hindering our capacity to heal and find ease.

Our emotional reactions of fear and resistance often lodge themselves in our bodies alongside the pain, to the point where they are almost indistinguishable. Learning to notice the distinction between pain and our reaction to it, we begin to see that although the pain in our bodies may not be optional, some of the pain of our reactions is optional.

Is Agave Syrup Good, Bad or Just Kinda Tasty?

by Julie Morris

Light your torches, there's a new witch hunt in the grocery store.

The target? Agave syrup. After hitting the mainstream several years ago as the new "healthy sweetener of choice," agave recently has been under fire with negative backlash all across the health-food spectrum, with many companies even considering pulling agave from their products due to the extent of customer concern.

But is agave really that bad? Can it be compared to high fructose corn syrup? Should we go out of our way to avoid it? Let's take a look.
