BREATH WORK MEDITATION FOR DUMMIES... Trying to meditate for the first time can be one of the most stressful experiences as your mind loops from though to thought like a broken record.
Try these simple breathing exercise to calm you down the next time you feel stressed:
BREATHWORK MEDITATION: Sit in a comfortable place with the eyes closed.
Inhale for 3 seconds then pause or hold for 3 seconds.
If your mind wanders focus on the rhythm of the breath.
AT WORK: Watch yourself as you complete a solo task. Notice your posture, listen to your thoughts and how you speak to yourself. Observe how your body moves. Do it frequently and you will start to notice your habits. Which ones are nourishing and which are self defeating habits? Work towards feeling without judging. AND REMEBER TO BREATHE!
