ASTROGRAM for May ~ June 2011

Anybody remember the movie Moonstruck starring Cher?  It's like that.  It can bring love, but it definitely brings passion.  So, come 3a.m. on May 17th in Auburn, be careful.  Know yourself.  With Jupiter in the "need for adjustment" position with the Moon, there will be excesses, maybe too many werewolves running around for your taste.  It's just a warning.  It's not a Friday night, but those werewolves may begin their haunt on the weekend prior.

Happy solar returns to all Geminis!  Those born on the 22nd to the 26th of May will have a particularly sensitive year ahead of them.  I say sensitive because all Geminis, even though their quality is meant to be mercurial, will be especially touchy to outside stimuli this next year.  It is the Neptune intervention.  Confusion gets in the way, and constant picking apart of the details would be wearing out on the nerves, so...let it go.  Go for the yoga, or take up sailing.  And yes, sailing kites also counts, as does bird watching, especially when they are flying.  Think sailing, into your inner self.  The inner calm is where things will get straightened out, untangled.

On June 13th the planet Saturn finally goes direct in motion.  Anyone with a birthday Oct. 1 to the 4th will probably experience a recurrence or "second string harmony" of last October's serious business that settled heavily upon your lives.  Now you can move on with other accomplishments.  It may have been a tough year for you, and now is your time to assess the acquired wisdom.  If you don't think that you've acquired wisdom, think again.  You have.

It's a nice time of year to have a birthday.  Put various flowers on your cake.  Some famous Geminis are Angelina Jolie, Bob Dylan, and Donald Trump.  I think all of them show ways in which Geminis thirst for variety in their lives.  Angelina was not satisfied with the usual transfer of genes into her family pool, and needed a whole global mix of DNA around her kitchen table.  Bob Dylan, who was idolized as the epitome of hippie thinking became a born-again Christian, and Donald Trump has surprised everyone by merging into the political arena.  If Geminis are known for anything, it is the ability to "mix it up" and to recognize surprise. 

Wherever Gemini is in your chart, that is where you are comfortable with the surprise element.  My own Gemini is in my 7th house of marriage, and I am always telling my husband "surprise me!".  It is also where we laugh the most.
