ASTROGRAM for February ~ March 2011

As promised I will speak here a little about the astrological characteristics of miracles, but first I would like to congratulate those whose birthdays are between February 16th and 19th for making it through the thick Neptune fog this past year, while Neptune transited these zodiacal points.  Aquarians do not take naturally to Neptune, preferring clear, unabashed, progressive leaps over the intuitive feeling nature of the Neptune energy.  But Neptune was at those degrees of Aquarius when it was first discovered, promising us that scientific discoveries ultimately lead to a confusing, mystical, ever-expanding core which cannot be defined very well, cannot be pinpointed ever.  All you Aquarians at those degrees will see your way clear in mid-March.  Have a tea-party with the March Hare and straighten things out...and write them down.  You are our leaders into this new age.

As the Sun moves into Pisces late on the 19th, this is when the Moon's North Node aligns with the point of our Earth's winter solctice.  The Moon's North Node is not a tangible item, but it may as well be.  The Nodal axis is as much a part of our Earth's energy system as the Sun and the Moon, which we know is vital, truly vital, to our existence, physically and energetically.  Traditionally the Moon's Node, which circles the zodiac about every 18 years, coincides with communal events, whether it is on a familial level, or a village level, or a global level.  The Node reaching this point of our Earth's solstice at a time when the Earth is so close to galactic alignment means there is a mammoth opportunity for communal growth. 

And that is where the miracles come in.   My research on miracles have shown that there is a disporpotionate number of aspects in the horoscope of miracles (the timing of their occurrence) that are referred to as "quinqunx" and "quindecile".  Nevermind that you are not familiar with the terms, it is merely an astrological measurement, simple planetary geometry.  These aspects are full of energy that require unusual remedies, full of urgency and creativity.  There is intense pressure there to force a solution, oftentimes resulting in what might be called a miracle.  On February 28 such energy is available for us to use.  It involves the planet of love - Venus, and our Moon, which if nothing else is where we hold our comfort dear.  On this day we might very well set our hearts to choose love over hate, understanding over anger.

Oh, hungry Jupiter.  Jupiter catches up to be in aspect with Pluto on the 22nd of February, always a boost of excess for those caught up in their need for control.  This certainly might apply to global concerns at present, and I am sure to personal concerns for many people, but we will look for relief by the 28th from those who have been manifesting love and light.  Jupiter energy is the only way we get anything done on our planet, but excess is excess.  Sometimes its never enough, but way too often its way too much. 

Astrology had its tiny bit of fame last month while Jupiter made its last connection with the planet Uranus, the astrologer's planet.  Speaking of enough, I think it was not enough.  Perhaps it sparked a little interest and people will make an effort to seek some knowledge for themselves about this ancient art and science.  Someone was trying (once again) to bash it to pieces.  Cannot be done.

I hope all of you were gracious to yourselves on Valentines Day.  The astrological symbol for that day is "a butterfly with the right wing more perfect".  That is to remember that we are all assymetrical in life, none of us are truly balanced or we wouldn't be here at all, and yet, we are everyone of us as beautiful as butterflies.  We just need to accept that and acknowledge it.
