We offer opportunities to gather in community through a variety of conscious entertainment & holistically educational programs & events. In addition, we are growing our networking and referral opportunities for holistic practitioners.
With this newsletter begins the next step in AHAA's mission to gather, and give voice to, our local holistic community.

"Clear the Way"
Fall is here, so winter and cold weather aren't far behind. That means we'll all be spending more time indoors, so now is a perfect time to assess how comfortable you are in your surroundings. Do you have cluttered closets, drawers and hallways? Do you even know what's in your drawers and on your shelves?
If you don't like what you see, take the opportunity to "clear the way." Every item in our home holds energy, positive or negative. Sometimes we keep things that don't have pleasant memories, or that invoke unhappy thoughts and feelings. Just by removing objects and organizing you can transform your space into a positive place. By getting rid of the old, you'll make room for the new to come in!
Start with the room you spend the most time in. Look at every item and ask yourself, Do I love it? Do I use it? Do I have a designated space for it?
If you answer "no" to any of these, put the item in a pile to gift to someone; send to a thrift store; or take to the trash. Then move things out, clean the space and the items you plan to keep, and put them back in place. Do this in each room and closet.
Keep a journal on your process, making note of what you did and what area of the home it was. Keep the journal near so you can record any changes/shifts that take place. You might get an unexpected phone call; receive money; get an opportunity to do something you've wanted to do. You don't have to believe in feng shui for it to work! When things are moved, energy shifts and changes take place naturally.
Have fun "clearing the way" then sit back and enjoy your space!

ASTROLOGY Update
October ~ November 2010

Just before the Sun moves into Scorpio on the 22nd the Moon completes its cycle of reflection with the Sun and beams at us with its full harvest glory in the Eastern Sky. If it is a clear night be sure and look for it early enough to see its projection as a big orange pumpkin reminding us of all our bounty of gifts.
Venus continues her journey backwards through Scorpio until she meets with the Sun on Friday October 29th. This is the perfect day for settling old scores. This should be done by privately letting go of grudges that have held court in the edges of our hearts for too long. With the Moon in Cancer its also a good time to decorate the house for Halloween while working on clearing out our internal homes.
If you are a Scorpio born between the 18th and 22nd of November, your life force has been challenged quite a bit lately, even to the point of questioning who you are. This can take many forms, from the death of a father or other close male figure, to the depletion of your own energy or being swept away in someone else's deceptive lair. What this time is meant to be used for is your own creative and spiritual development. It's also an excellent time to develop psychic abilities.
Around the 5th of November and then all through the month, a rather rare energy is formed which is conducive to group psychological and transformational work. If you've been meaning to join a group to work on your addictions but you've put it off, now is the time. The group energy will bring you the support you need. For everyone else, I recommend gatherings for past-life study or meditations to receive prophetic wisdom. If only one person in the group receives a message, please know that the whole group has made it possible. Family gatherings during this time can bring about a catharsis of understanding regarding family karmas that link all the family. You, dear reader, might be the one to instigate the process. If you've wanted it for awhile and didn't know when to bring it up, now's your chance. If you plant the see, it will grow.
Let me wish everyone a peaceful and bountiful Samhain! Open your doors to the other side on the 31st, invite in all good spirits!
