Congratulations to Australia for its three Olympic Gold Medals in Sailing.  Roger McMillan editor of mysailing.com.au has done a great job of covering Olympic sailing, whether or not you're an Aussie.

Mark your Calendar for Buzzelli Multihull Rendezvous   

Seems like only yesterday we were in Sarasota, Florida for the Buzzelli Multihull Rendevouz, but here it is upon us again.  Don't miss out this year; and plan to come to the Sarasota Sailing Squadron October 18-21st.     

The facilities are excellent for camping (hot showers) and nice hotels are close by.  Just leave your boat on the beach and forget about it (at least for the short time you are not out sailing in beautiful Sarasota Bay).

You will need to register with Buzzelli when their site opens for registration - and please pay regardless if you are going to race as they do provide the camping facilities and beach for our use.  Last year Robert Sanberg raced for the first time, and despite going out just for fun, ended up with a trophy!  He had a new WR16 with the carbon fiber mast - so watch out again this year if you don't have one.
