Fun in Belize | | Hopkins invitational.mov |
We have received a couple of fun videos this month which we would like to share. The one to the left was shot in Hopkins, Belize, which happens to be the first place I saw I WindRider - in fact it is this same blue boat I saw in 2007. It is at a beautiful resort called Jaguar Reef. The video has great music, and funny sub-text - which I must warn you, has one SWEAR word. But this is public content, so WindRider does not take responsibility. Call us at 888-609-2827 or email us today to place your order for delivery. Don't let the summer of 2012 go by without having fun - with or without drinking beer. Will you Vote for WindRider? There is a grant opportunity for a small business to receive $250,000, but in order for our application to even be reviewed, we need 250 votes at the Mission Small Business website. When you get to this page, click "Log In and Support" then scroll down and enter "WindRider" in the business name box, then press "search". When WindRider shows up on the next page, click "Vote", then "Share". With additional funding, WindRider would improve our website, increase marketing, stock inventory, and setup a better marketing/sales process. For example we would like to have a traveling WindRider team to do demonstrations around the country. So please go to this site, click "Support", type in WindRider, and vote. Great Video From Anna Maria Florida | | BartsGoPro - WindRider 17 Trimaran Sailing - A WindRider Day - GoPr |
A prospective WindRider owner recently went to Bimini Bay Sailing on Anna Maria Island, (Gulf Coast of Florida). He picked a day with some pretty good wind in order to test a WR17. While a very proficient sailor, Bart is also good with a GoPro camera. Some great action; wish I were there in person. It should be noted that you do not have to be an experienced sailor to enjoy the WR17 in these conditions. The WR17 is so easy to use with foot pedal steering, full 360 degree view, armchair seating and lines right at your fingertips. And of course, nearly impossible to capsize. Newport, Rhode Island in June The Americas Cup in Newport is drawing a lot of interest and runs from June 23rd to July 1st. WindRider owners are putting together the location and accommodation recommendations and you can learn more at the WindRider Owner's Forum. This thread will have the most up to date information about the gathering. Robert Sanberg will be there from June 25th through June 29th attending a Sailing Conference as well as providing demo sails on a WR17. If you would like to connect with Robert regarding meeting in Newport, please email robert@windrider.com. |
