WindRider Experience                 April 2011

The Time is Right for a Multi-Purpose Boat

Our desire to be on the water is very strong, especially this time of year for those of us in the north.  Recreational boating options are plentiful, but time and money maybe not.  So how can you satisfy your paticular desire on any given day, and the needs of others who may participate with you in boating?

line up on beachDesigner and multi-hull specialist Jim Brown has developed a platform to make the WindRider 17 your "Do it All" boat for versatile FUN. Please watch this video which Jim has made as an introduction to his "WindFisher" conversion kit.  There is no other boat on the market, especially at the price of a WR17, on which you can sail, fish and camp - alone or with others.

You can purchase plans to build it yourself, or purchase the kit if demand so dictates. But availability may be limited, so please submit your contact information via our website form (click here) so we can communicate with you about the WindFisher option for the WindRider 17.

In the WindRider newsletter of last month this picture showed the beautiful West coastal town of Hasselosund close to the town of Smogen - the summer time home of WindRider Sweden.

Mikael Sundebäck dealer of WindRider in Sweden shares beautiful descriptions of sailing in Scandinavia. (click here for full story and more photos) They arrange for customers to come and set sail before buying a WindRider Sailing trimaran. They also have a small rental business with WindRider 17's to be rented on a weekly basis - a very popular service that has opened up the opportunity for non-sailors and beginners to get out on the waters and discover the beautiful archipelago of west coast Sweden.

From time to time we will bring you stories and adventures from other parts of the world, as owners enjoy the WindRider Experience.
