Did you know?  Overdrive offers e-books and downloadable audiobooks that are compatible with computers and most devices!  By signing in you will have immediate access to the Hamilton-Wenham Library's Overdrive Advantage program (titles available only to Hamilton-Wenham Library card holders) as well as MVLC's collection.  You may add up to five titles to your bookbag and check them out using your library card.  If a title is not available, please place a hold and you will be e-mailed when it becomes available.  You may also listen to samples, rate titles, suggest titles for purchase and e-mail, Facebook, and Twitter about titles.  You may choose a 7, 14, or 21 day checkout period and many devices allow you to return e-books early.

Got questions?  The best place to start is by visiting the Overdrive 'My Help' screen. It will bring you step by step through the set up and download process.

MVLC currently owns 2,558 downloadable audiobooks and 2,759 e-books.  We also have access to leased rotating collections Blackstone audiobooks, Tantor audiobooks, and HarperCollins Licensed e-books.  The Hamilton-Wenham Library has its own collection for Hamilton-Wenham Library card holders, which means a bigger selection and less waiting.  Titles are always being added, so please check back frequently to see what is available.

Coming soon!  Later this year a new version of Overdrive will be released called "WIN."  Keep your eye out, it promises to be even more user-friendly.
