Memorial Day Weekend Closings & System Upgrades

The Library will be closed Saturday, May 28, through Monday, May 30, in observance of Memorial Day.

Starting Friday 27th, at 9 pm, the online catalogs, museum pass reservations, and some databases
will be inaccessible to MVLC patrons.
The following services are expected to be available all weekend: OverDrive digital downloads, Novelist & other EBSCO databases, InfoTrac Web & most Gale Group databases.

Tuesday 31st, the new Evergreen system will be functioning, starting with basic catalog services; your account information, holds, and lists are expected to migrate to the new system without problems.  As the switchover progresses other services will be restored.  Currently we have no firm time line for when specific functions are expected to resume; we will take each development as it comes.  Online account users will be able to login, but will be required to upgrade your current PIN to a 7 character alpha-numeric password.

We thank you in advance for your patience during our transition.
