April Vacation Events  
 
The Library is offering  free programs and activities for students of all ages during April break.    

    Saturday, 16th  11-noon  Springtime Stories & Craft  for families and children of all ages.

   Tuesday, 19th   2-4 pm Teen Think Tank Movie Series presents:
    Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
  [PG 13]  Scott Pilgrim, a part-time musician, falls in love with delivery girl Ramona Flowers, but must defeat her seven evil exes in order to win her heart.  This is a film adaptation of the Scott Pilgrim graphic novels.

     Wednesday, 20th  Museum of Science presents
     Rockets: There and Back Again
provides an interactive exploration of rockets, space, re-entry and wind resistance.  Stop by the Children's room to reserve your seat in one of four sessions.

    Thursday, 21st 1-4 pm Kite Day with Archie Stewart

    Bring your friends, grandparents & neighbors to this free & fun event.  Build your kite from 1-3 in our Meeting Room, then move next door to the Recreation Department's gym to watch your creations fly and see a demonstration of Archie's acrobatic flying skills.

 

    Saturday, 23rd  10 am - 4 pm BOM: Battle-gaming of Massachusetts for teens.  Play and learn a variety of tabletop strategy battle games such as Warhammer 40k, Warhammer Fantasy, and Brikwars.  If you do not know how to play one of the members will be happy to teach you.  Visit the club website at:  www.freewebs.com/massbattles.

 

    Reminder!  The Teen Poetry Contest closes at midnight on April 30.
