at 7:00PM . She will also sign books for anyone who would like to purchase one. Katherine lives locally in Manchester by the Sea and much of her book is set on the North Shore. A Talk by Noted Children's Literature Critic, Barbara Elleman
How Children's Book Illustrators Help to Tell the Story:
Selected Artists from Stuart J. Murphy's Award-Winning Books
Saturday, October 23 at the Hamilton-Wenham Library, 1 - 3 p.m
Math = Fun!
Barbara Elleman, founding editor of Book Links magazine (American Library Association), trustee for the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art and the author of books on the work of Tomie dePaola and Virginia Lee Burton, will explore the alchemy of collaboration between Stuart J. Murphy, the author of the popular MathStart series, and the more than 30 illustrators who have brought the stories to life.
A book-signing with Elleman and Murphy will follow the talk.
