Sweet, Sweet Sweet Briar Days... Sweet Briar Day events were held in 26 cities across the country this winter. Sweet Briar Days, set forth by the Alumnae Association in 1922, were traditionally held on December 28.
They are a special day for all members of the Sweet Briar family to gather and celebrate the relationships they have with one another and with the College. In recent years, clubs have been encouraged to hold their gatherings during the holiday season when current students are at home and to invite prospective students and their families to join in the festivities. Riding Alumnae Reunion April 13-15 Alumnae riders are invited to return to campus for an Alumnae Riding Reunion during the 85th Annual Horse Show. Activities include alumnae classes, trail rides, silent auction and a lecture by Paul D. Cronin, Director Emeritus of the Sweet Briar Riding Program and Professor Emeritus. Registration materials will be mailed later this month.
